  • Work extensively with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Prepare client engineering artwork for our various printing processes, create separations, and bleed. Or as needed, design artwork based on client specifications, providing proofs so the client is always up to date on where the design is and where it's going.
  • Generate cutting paths for plotters, water jet, laser engraver, or to be sent of and have a die-cut board created for high volume jobs.
  • Operate the Gerber Edge II thermal printer and plotter, and Roland 72UVX UV InkJet printer.
  • Occasionally take on role of staff photographer for promotional materials, and head shots.

  • Helped students learn and comprehend what they’re being taught in classes assigned.
  • Classes include:
    • Introduction to Computers - An entry level basic computer skills class to help students unfamiliar or scared of computers to get comfortable with using them on a day to day basis. Focus of study included DOS and Windows operation, and basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database work with Microsoft Works.
    • Typography for Digital Media - A mid-level design course focusing on typography and how it interacts and affects design. Worked primarily with Adobe Illustrator.
    • Shell Scripting and C Programming - Primary focus on Linux, particularly Red Hat. Java was later introduced as a comparison and contrast to C and C++.
    • Part of a design team working with Fox Sports Southwest to produce intros and commercial cut-aways for their broadcasting of the Texas Rangers, and the Ballpark in Arlington.
